Chimes is seeking a Senior Compliance Coordinator who brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to balance compliance responsibilities with team oversight.
In this role, you’ll lead and support Compliance Coordinators while remaining hands-on with investigations, program audits, regulatory compliance, training, and reporting. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Supervise and support Compliance Coordinators within assigned affiliates, including weekly documented supervision.
- →Review and audit staff work to ensure quality, accuracy, and completion of required responsibilities.
- →Monitor required site visits, goals, and other compliance activities.
- →Complete supervisory activities in UKG/UltiPro, including payroll and time-off responsibilities.
- →Oversee tracking for investigations and site visits, ensuring deadlines are met, and extensions are requested when necessary.
- →Conduct approximately five program/site audits per month, prepare comprehensive reports, and follow up to ensure regulatory compliance.
- →Conduct complex investigations as assigned by the Compliance Manager and communicate corrective actions for tracking and follow-up.
- →Communicate with state agencies regarding investigations, site visits, and other compliance matters.
- →Keep the Compliance Manager informed of emerging or significant information in real time.
- →Provide and attend scheduled staff training and serve as backup for New Employee Orientation when needed.
- →Monitor compliance with required services for individuals served, including psychological, nursing, and clinical services.
- →Assist the Compliance Manager with reports, communications, presentations, and other projects using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and NAVEX.
- →Work collaboratively with staff, supervisors, administrators, individuals served, community professionals, customers, vendors, and the public.
- →Participate in meetings, special projects, and other compliance and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Education: Associate degree in psychology, social work, or a related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Experience: At least two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group setting.
- A vehicle and an acceptable driving record, as determined by Chimes' insurance carrier requirements and agency policy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees, leadership, state agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Comfort with reviewing documentation, conducting audits, and handling investigations.
- Ability to recognize when assistance or escalation to management is needed.
