The Chimes School is a nonpublic, MSDE-approved special education program serving students ages 5–21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We’re known for our supportive, team-based environment, strong clinical and behavioral services, and a shared commitment to helping every student build communication, independence, and confidence.

Responsibilities

→Provide speech/language evaluations and deliver therapy services (direct and consultative) aligned with student IEPs
→Develop measurable IEP goals and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
→Maintain timely documentation and ensure compliance with applicable school and state requirements (including COMAR)
→Support staff with strategies and tools that enhance communication, including assistive technology as needed
→Participate in team meetings, professional development, and other school-based activitie.s

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Maryland SLP license (current)
ASHA CCC-SLP or eligibility for certification

At least 1 year of relevant experience (school setting or working with children/individuals with disabilities preferred)
Strong collaboration skills and a student-centered, compassionate approach
Acceptable driving record (may be required based on assignment)
