• 5 years of experience as a registered dietitian in a clinical setting, with minimum of 3 years in pediatric nutrition OR
• Master’s degree in nutrition plus 3 years of experience as a registered dietitian in a clinical setting

• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP)
• Working knowledge of current trends in performance improvement, revenue enhancement, computerization trends, and Joint Commission requirements
• Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership

• Bachelor of Science in nutrition or dietetics

• Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Georgia licensed dietitian

• Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• →Assists Manager, Clinical Nutrition in overseeing implementation of clinical nutrition care based upon medical directions and patient population.
• →Assists with development, management, maintenance, and progress of clinical nutrition goals and ensures clinical nutrition standards are implemented in the hospital.
• →Conducts departmental orientation, training, and competency documentation of clinical nutrition staff.
• →Hires, leads, trains, evaluates, and coaches staff as needed.
• →Monitors competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy of clinical staff, utilizing necessary tools and resources.
• →Assists with development, management, monitoring, and reporting of quality initiatives.
• →Assists with development and revision of appropriate manuals and policies and procedures and maintains appropriate clinical functions to meet patient needs and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• →Participates actively on various hospital committees.
• →Performs related responsibilities and provide direct patient care as a dietitian as needed.
• →Assists supervisor and/or manager with development of staff by being available to teammates, acting as a resource to help complete complicated/complex tasks, providing on the job training to team, and seeking out opportunities to become actively involved in staff workflow and development.
• →Provides supervisor and/or manager feedback on staff performance, educational needs, and workflow status.
• →Oversees daily operations of the Nutrition Lab and/or dietitian teams.
