Analyst, Technical Records

Job Summary We’re looking for a Technical Records Analyst to support the management, organization, and auditing of aircraft engine technical records throughout the asset lifecycle. In this role, you will assist with maintaining complete and accurate records that support engine acquisitions, overhauls, leasing activities, and asset sales while ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.   Work That Matters At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. Whether you're improving processes, supporting operations, solving technical challenges, or driving business performance, your contributions help keep aircraft flying safely around the world.   Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Schedule: On-site   What You’ll Be Doing Assist with auditing aircraft engine technical records to ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, customer, and company requirements. Support baseline records reviews for engine, module, and component acquisitions, consignments, and overhaul activities. Maintain and communicate open item lists, helping drive resolution of records discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders. Assist in preparing technical records packages for leased and sold assets, including supporting documentation and sales records packages. Research and resolve missing documentation, traceability gaps, and historical record discrepancies. Coordinate with airlines, lessors, MRO providers, vendors, and internal teams to obtain required documentation and close outstanding findings. Maintain accurate records within records management systems, ensuring data integrity and proper document organization. Support the validation of life-limited part (LLP) traceability and other critical maintenance documentation. Organize and manage technical documentation received from multiple sources to ensure accurate and accessible record retention. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance records quality, efficiency, and operational performance.   What We’re Looking For Associate degree in Aviation or a related field. 1+ years of experience in aviation technical records within an airline, MRO, aftermarket parts, leasing, or aviation services environment. Familiarity with back-to-birth traceability requirements for life-limited parts (LLPs) and critical aircraft components. Understanding of aviation maintenance documentation, including 8130s, NIS, BTB, DFP, and related records. Working knowledge of FAA regulations, EASA standards, maintenance procedures, and quality control requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic records management systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies within technical documentation. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.   Nice to Have Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license. 3+ years of experience in aviation technical records. Experience supporting airline, MRO, engine leasing, or aftermarket aviation operations. Knowledge of aircraft engine maintenance records and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience preparing records packages for engine, module, and component transactions. Familiarity with Quantum or similar aviation maintenance and records management systems. Knowledge of continuous improvement practices and records process optimization. Experience working directly with airlines, lessors, MRO providers, and aviation service organizations.
