Inspection - NDT Technician 1st shift

Job Summary We're looking for an NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing and inspections on aerospace components to verify compliance with quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements. What you do here has real-world impact—every day.   Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30pm Sign On Bonus: $500    What You’ll Be Doing Perform non-destructive testing and inspections in accordance with approved procedures, customer specifications, and industry standards Analyze, interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results accurately and completely Set up, operate, and verify NDT equipment required for assigned inspections Review and interpret engineering requirements, inspection criteria, and customer documentation Record inspection findings and maintain accurate test records using manual and computer-based systems Utilize measurement and inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, scales, and comparators Ensure work-in-process documentation is complete and accurate Support compliance with quality system requirements, repair station procedures, and customer specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area utilizing 5S and continuous improvement principles Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction   What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED preferred Current or previous NDT Level II certification Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Experience performing non-destructive inspections and interpreting inspection results Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, procedures, and work instructions Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation Basic computer skills and experience using electronic systems for data entry and recordkeeping Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to pass applicable vision testing requirements   Nice to Have Aerospace, aviation, MRO, manufacturing, or precision component inspection experience Experience working in a regulated quality environment Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles Multiple NDT method certifications   Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing and repair facility environment Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift Regular use of inspection equipment, measuring devices, and computer systems Ability to lift and move components and tooling within established safety guidelines Use of personal protective equipment as required
