Job Summary We’re looking for an experienced Electronic Technician IV to troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated electronic, electrical, control, and automated equipment in an aerospace manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll independently diagnose complex equipment failures, implement corrective actions, and help improve the safety, reliability, and performance of critical manufacturing systems.   Work That Matters At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. What you do here has real-world impact—every day.   Shift: Friday - Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Work 36 hours, get paid for 40!  Shift Differential: $3.50 per hour   What You’ll Be Doing Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, and automated manufacturing equipment. Diagnose issues involving PLCs, CNC machines, robotics, drives, motors, sensors, and control systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify root causes and resolve equipment failures. Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Restore equipment to safe operating condition while minimizing downtime. Troubleshoot integrated electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Support equipment installations, upgrades, controls modifications, and automation projects. Perform calibration and maintenance of industrial instrumentation and control devices. Document maintenance activities and equipment history within the CMMS. Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical guidance and support to fellow maintenance team members. Follow all safety, Lockout/Tagout, and aerospace quality requirements.   What We’re Looking For Technical degree, certificate, or formal training in electronics, electrical technology, industrial controls, automation, or a related field preferred. 7+ years of industrial electronic/electrical maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced troubleshooting experience with industrial manufacturing equipment. Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and industrial electronics. Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment. Experience with VFDs, servo drives, motors, sensors, relays, and industrial control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot integrated electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.   Nice to Have Experience in aerospace manufacturing or another highly regulated manufacturing environment. PLC programming or troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar platforms. CNC troubleshooting experience. Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing systems. Experience with industrial networks and communication systems. Experience with instrumentation and process controls. Experience using CMMS systems. Electrical safety training and/or NFPA 70E certification. Experience with thermography or other predictive-maintenance technologies. Two-year technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or related discipline.   Work Environment & Physical Requirements Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work throughout an industrial manufacturing environment. Work in confined or elevated areas when required. Lift and handle maintenance tools, parts, and equipment. Work around machinery, electrical equipment, industrial chemicals, noise, heat, and other manufacturing hazards while following established safety requirements
