The Cash & Trade Proc Intmd Analyst C11 is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to research, conduct analyses, and resolve issues. This critical role within India Trade Operations is responsible for managing regulatory compliance, overseeing audits, and representing the unit in strategic bank-wide initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure timely, accurate, and coordinated responses to regulatory bodies and external auditors, while mitigating risks and maintaining positive stakeholder relations. Responsibilities: * Create customized transaction services reports based on data analysis * Monitor and research errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies * Resolve transaction services issues and use technical expertise/ judgment to conduct complex analysis * Anticipate and respond to requests for transaction deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors * Develop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the Cash & Trade operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectives * Assist with providing informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members as required * Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Key Responsibilities: * Enforcement Directorate (ED) Notices Management: * Oversee the handling of ED notices, ensuring prompt and accurate submission of responses. * Facilitate intricate coordination across various Trade Operations units and Trade Advisory to prevent escalations and mitigate reputational/regulatory risks. * RBI Risk Based Supervision (RBS) Audit: * Manage and coordinate deliverables for the annual RBI Risk Based Supervision (RBS) audit. * Liaise extensively with internal stakeholders (Trade Ops, Trade Product, IBR, ICRM, Regulatory Reporting team, etc.) to ensure accurate, complete, and harmonized responses, presenting Citibank as a unified entity. * RBI Ad-hoc Request Single Point of Contact (SPOC): * Serve as the primary SPOC for all urgent, ad-hoc requests from the RBI impacting Trade Operations. * Ensure rapid and precise coordination with multiple internal units to deliver accurate, timely, and cohesive responses essential for regulatory relations. * Concurrent Audit: * Manage ongoing concurrent audits, including coordination with external auditors. * Resolve audit queries, review monthly reports, and develop robust Management Action Plans (MAPs) in collaboration with relevant Trade Operations units. * Statutory Audit Management: * Lead the management of the annual statutory audit . * Provide comprehensive data, respond to information requests, clarify queries, and proactively address potential observations to achieve a clean audit outcome. * Strategic Project Representation: * Represent India Trade Operations in critical bank-level strategic projects * Collaborate with project teams and Trade Operations units to provide timely and accurate inputs, aligning with broader bank objectives. Qualifications: * 4-5 years of experience in a related role within trade / cash operations management * Effective verbal and written skills * Effective communication and analytical skills * Effective relationship management skills * Expert level proficiency in Windows, MS Project, and MS Office Suite Education: * Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
