Team/Role Overview Transaction Trade Capture Risk Management team ensure the accuracy and completeness of Front Office bookings, prevent material errors by adhering to regulatory and business mandates. The role is part of the Markets Front Office organization and will be responsible for implementing trade booking controls within the broader Markets preventative control framework. This is an exciting opportunity for a practically minded, seasoned professional with an in-depth knowledge of traded products and preventative controls. The team has coverage across all Markets’ businesses globally, multiple risk and technology functions enabling the candidate the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple stakeholders for career development. What you’ll do * In-depth analysis of booking processes across multiple applications * Define business requirements for proposed controls to meet regulatory commitments and business objectives * Collaborate effectively with Sales/Trading, Technology, Operations and other functions * Ensure that delivered functionality meets business requirements * Plan and execute seamless go-live of new controls * Contribute to project management activities governing controls implementation * Investigate control failures and drive forward control enhancement initiatives What we’ll need from you * University degree in a related field * Relevant industry experience preferred in Markets business management, operational risk, middle office, technology, product control or other relevant control function * Strong working knowledge and subject matter expertise in Markets traded products and related control principles * Experience in working with technology teams and understanding of the change management process * Effective negotiation and relationship skills, comfortable in responding to and managing challenging stakeholders * Excellent communication skills up to senior level * A proactive and “no surprises” approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent reviews * Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a Risk and Controls mindset What we can offer you This is a role that'll offer you the opportunity to build an in-depth knowledge of Markets’ businesses and their products, opportunity to evolve the control framework, exposure to stakeholders across Front Office businesses, various risk stripes and technology teams.
