Position Summary: This position is responsible for the overall planning, organization, coordination, and management of Solid Waste Operations. Key responsibilities include overseeing the collection, transfer, and disposal of solid waste and recyclables for both residential and commercial customers, as well as the ownership and operation of a regional transfer station. Essential Duties:
Minimum Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field preferred; five (5) years of experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing the collection and/or transfer of solid waste with at least three (3) years at the supervisory/managerial level along with experience in preparing/monitoring budgets, creating/maintaining statistical reports and trend analysis; and overseeing contract development/management; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
