Operating Area: Philadelphia, PA 19103

Freight Type – No-touch dry van
Home Time – Every other weekend
Weekly Pay – $1,350 to $1,500

Dry van freight demand and organized dispatch coordination help keep this CDL-A truck driver position moving consistently from one trip to the next. Drivers based in the Philadelphia area operate established multi-state lanes with steady freight volume and planned load assignments. Dispatch works to coordinate upcoming freight whenever possible, helping limit extended gaps between loads and giving drivers a more organized operating cycle throughout their time on the road.

Weekly Pay & Benefits

Drivers typically earn between $1,350 and $1,500 per week based on mileage, freight volume, and experience. Pay is processed weekly on a consistent schedule. Eligible drivers have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan options, and paid vacation. Rider and pet programs are also available after approval.

Schedule & Home Time

Drivers operate on a 12-day schedule followed by 48 hours at home every other weekend. The operating cycle provides enough time on the road to build consistent mileage while maintaining scheduled home time throughout the month. Dispatch planning focuses on keeping freight transitions organized so drivers know what is coming next whenever possible.

Dry Van Freight

This fleet handles primarily no-touch dry van freight moving through established interstate corridors. A high percentage of loads are drop-and-hook, reducing the amount of time drivers spend waiting at customer locations. Average haul lengths range from approximately 700 to 750 miles, providing longer runs that help drivers build weekly mileage without depending on a large number of short trips.

Assigned Equipment

Drivers are assigned 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions. Trucks are equipped with APUs, inverters, and refrigerators for added comfort while away from home. Preventative maintenance is scheduled regularly to help reduce equipment-related downtime and keep drivers available for freight.

Orientation & Support

Transportation to orientation, hotel accommodations, and meals are provided. Once on the road, drivers have access to support for dispatch coordination, routing questions, equipment concerns, and other operational needs that may arise during a trip.

Driver Requirements

Valid Class A CDL

Minimum 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience

Acceptable driving and safety history

Ability to operate across multiple states and remain DOT compliant
