Warehouse Specialist 1

The Warehouse Specialist 1 is a new hire to a one-year position that supports a specific function within warehouse operations. Working under the guidance of a manager and/or supervisor, Specialist 1 will master one to five of the functional skills required within a specific department. Specialist 1 will maintain safety and organizational standards as well as support any of the shared services functions as needed.

• Receive inbound shipments from both trailers and ocean containers, report receipt discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders using any/all service types, i.e. LTL, TL, and Parcel.
• Put-away inventory items that are stocked in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, storage areas, and premises as directed.
• Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.
• Any additional tasks assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous labor experience with preference to warehouse experience.

• A fast-paced dynamic environment with strenuous physical requirements in a non-temperature-controlled setting.
