Responsibilities

→High school graduate or equivalent.

One year of clerical experience, preferably in the area of emergency services.
Two years Medical, Fire or EMS dispatch experience.
Multi-channel radio system and multi-line phone system experience preferred.

Current Virginia State Dispatcher certification, required.
Must be able to obtain VCIN certification within 90 days of employment.

Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to hold a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge as may be required by assigned job duties and responsibilities.
Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and other pre-employment requirements.
