The Marketing Project Assistant should be a creative, motivated individual dedicated to learning and supporting the mission of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey. The Project Associate will work closely with the Marketing & Publications staff to gain valuable hands-on experience in writing, social media, video and public relations efforts to support the programs, events and services provided by the Federation and our family of agencies. This position is ideal for a young, creative and mission-driven individual who is passionate about community and making a meaningful impact.
Social Media Management:
Help support the management of the Federation’s social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) by creating engaging posts, monitoring engagement, and tracking analytics.
Copywriting, Article Writing and Storytelling
Contribute to the Jewish Community Voice with 2 articles, as well as other writing opportunities such as contributing to JFSNJ’s annual Impact Report, email marketing and other copywriting as needed.
Email Marketing:
Assist in drafting and designing JFSNJ email marketing campaigns to keep supporters, donors, and volunteers engaged and informed.
Videography:
Assist the video team on assignment as necessary, including capturing footage.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed. Attend meetings as requested.
Required Education & Experience:
Students who attend a New Jersey institution of higher education, or are a New Jersey resident attending an institution outside of the state
Preferred major(s): ANY, included but not limited to; Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Print Journalism, and/or Jewish Studies
