The Onsite Childcare Manager oversees the daily operations of an organization’s childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. This role combines leadership, compliance, staff supervision, and family engagement.

Responsibilities

→Ensure a structured daily schedule that supports children’s development
→Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
→Supervise and support childcare staff and professional development
→Staff Oversite (coordinate staff meetings, on-going training, PR, support staff scheduling)
→Report to Directors
→Manage coverage of staffing ratios
→Ensure compliance with all state and local childcare licensing regulations (annual renewal & upkeep of student documents)
→Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
→Oversee emergency preparedness plans and drills
→Build strong relationships with families
→Coordinate maintenance repairs
→Conduct tours for prospective parents and families
