About the Role
We’re looking for a Paid Media Analyst to join our growing marketing team and help build CleverProfits’ paid media department from the ground up. If you live and breathe ad data, find yourself obsessing over performance metrics, and get a genuine thrill from optimising every dollar of ad spend, this role was made for you.
You’ll report directly to the Marketing Manager and work primarily within the Meta Ads ecosystem, managing and optimising campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients. As an early hire in a newly established department, the growth potential here is significant, both in the scope of your responsibilities and in your career trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and optimise Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook & Instagram) across multiple client accounts
• Analyse ad performance data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and diagnose underperformance
• Strategically allocate and manage ad spend budgets to maximise return on investment
• Build, test, and iterate on ad creatives, audiences, targeting strategies, and campaign structures
• Produce clear, data-driven performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations
• Monitor Meta platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry best practices, and adapt strategies accordingly
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to align paid media activity with broader client and business goals
• Contribute to the development of paid media processes, frameworks, and playbooks as the department scales
Qualifications
Required:
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns (agency or in-house)
• Proven experience running and optimising Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns
• Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision making and budget management
• Ability to interpret performance data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and accounts simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, self-starter attitude — you don’t wait to be told what to improve
Advantageous:
• Experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, or Shopping)
• Working knowledge of SEO principles and how paid and organic strategies complement each other
• Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 and Meta Business Suite
• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimisation
Benefits:
• Medical Aid Subsidy
• Local Travel Benefit
• Hybrid Work Model
• Paid Maternity and Parental Leave
• Exposure to the US market
• Be a key part of building a marketing department for a strategic advisory firm from the ground up in an innovative and rapidly growing niche
• Work alongside young, smart, talented people who will push you and help you grow
• Build experience working with a wide range of businesses and industries, while developing skills in leading and managing change
• Learn a valuable breadth of skills that span across the entire business cycle
