The Refrigerant Compliance Specialist will serve as a key resource in refrigerant regulatory compliance, leak management, documentation, data accuracy, customer reporting and operational support. 

You will help identify refrigerant performance trends, compliance risks and improve operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support compliance with EPA refrigerant regulations, customer Refrigerant Management Program, state requirements and Climate Pros policies.
  • Review refrigerant related service activity for completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify leak documentation, repairs, refrigerant adds, follow-ups and leak inspections.
  • Maintain audit ready compliance documentation.
  • Assist with internal and customer compliance audits.
  • Track leak repair progress through final resolution.
  • Assist operations with escalation of unresolved or high risk refrigerant issues.
  • Support leak reduction initiatives and Corrective action plans.
  • Analyze refrigerant usage and compliance trends to identify operational risks.
  • Review refrigerant tracking data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify missing, inconsistent records and coordinate corrections.
  • Assist with development of customer compliance scorecards and executive reporting.
  • Serve as a resource for technicians and branch personnel for refrigerant documentation and compliance records.
  • Assist with technician and branch compliance training.
  • Promote consistent refrigerant management processes across all Climate Pros branches.
  • Support Account Management with customer refrigerant reporting.
  • Provide documentation required for customer audits and invoice approvals.
  • Support resolution of refrigerant related invoice disputes to eliminate payment delays.
  • Refrigerant tracking accuracy

  • Reduction in unresolved leak or inspection events

  • Reduction in refrigerant related invoice disputes
  • Technician and branch support response time

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial HVACR refrigerant management, environmental compliance or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and service practices.
  • Strong understanding of refrigerant documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to analyze service records, refrigerant data and operational trends.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with Operations, Account Teams, field service and customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • Experience with supermarket refrigeration service and installation.
  • Knowledge of EPA section 608 refrigerant management.
  • Familiarity with the AIM Act and various state regulations.
  • Experience with refrigerant tracking and compliance software systems.

The Refrigerant Compliance Specialist will support a standardized, proactive, and measurable enterprise program.

Success will result in improved refrigerant data accuracy, prompt leak resolution and documentation, stronger regulatory compliance, fewer documentation related customer disputes and improved branch execution.
