Veterinarian / Animal Biologist - Clinvet Morocco
Clinvet Morocco is looking for a dedicated Veterinarian / Animal Biologist to join our Animal Care team.
This position is well suited for enthusiastic individuals who are looking for advancement in their research careers and who wants to gain hands-on experience in the thriving and supportive department of Study Management and Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, execution, and reporting of GCP, GLP, and non-standard studies in compliance with regulatory requirements and timelines.
- Serve as Study Investigator for assigned non-standard studies.
- Prepare study protocols, ethics applications, and related study documentation.
- Lead team scheduling and resource planning to support departmental objectives.
- Monitor and promote animal health, welfare, and disease prevention practices.
- Conduct animal observations, examinations, and sample collection activities.
- Manage quarantine, isolation, and biosecurity procedures.
- Maintain clean, compliant, and audit-ready animal facilities.
- Perform animal handling, care, therapy, and environmental enrichment activities.
- Execute parasite-related procedures and breeding activities.
- Complete study administration and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Monitor environmental conditions and animal feed management.
- Administer veterinary products and treatments in accordance with study requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable quality, safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Work Environment
The employee is required to:
- work in a laboratory/research type environment with strict access and biosafety controls
- interact with and handle animals
- be available for work during normal work hours as well as after-hours according to pre-arranged departmental schedules that my require evening, weekend, and public holiday work
Minimum Requirements:
- Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, or Degree in Natural or Biological Science and two (2) years’ research experience, or
- Diploma in Veterinary Technology, Veterinary Medicine, or closely related field and five (5) years’ research experience, or
- 0-3 years relevant experience
Specific Skills and Abilities required:
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Outlook, MS Teams, and Office 365
- Ability to learn new software and systems
- Ability to work independently and be part of a team
- Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Meeting tight deadlines, time management and scheduling
Physical requirements:
- Ability to work the duration of an eight-hour shift, on your feet, in constant motion
On-site role based in the Mohammedia area, Morocco.
