    Education/training equivalent to the above, including at least 60 semester hours from an accredited institution, with:

    • →

      24 semester hours of Medical Laboratory Technology courses; OR

    • →

      24 semester hours of science courses, including 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology in any combination.

  • →

    Level I: 3 years or less of relevant work experience.

  • →

    Level II: 4–7 years of relevant work experience.

  • →

    Level III/Lead: 8+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent training, plus the ability to self-direct and complete the essential functions of a Level III or Lead position.

    Experience level is determined at the discretion of the Administrative Director.

    The position involves grossing surgical specimens and working with sharp instruments. Employees are expected to follow all applicable CLIA, OSHA, company, and laboratory safety requirements.
