C Developer Intern (remote work)

We are seeking talented and motivated C Developer Interns to join our TuxCare team. As an intern at TuxCare, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in C development and contribute to the development of our innovative projects.

• Some C programming and debugging skills
• Experience using Git for development and patch/branch management
• Experience with GNU/Linux operating system (CLI) and shell scripting
• Basic experience with building the Linux kernel and troubleshooting related issues
• English proficiency at B1 level or above (you'll be communicating a lot in English, especially in writing);
• Self-starter who’s hungry to learn;
• Final-year student or entry-level engineer with strong basics;
• Able to read and reason about C / systems code, reviewing and validating patches is central;
• Solid fundamentals in algorithms and data structures;
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants day-to-day; basic prompting and able to spot when the output is wrong;
• Broad awareness of the current AI-assisted development landscape - different models for different tasks, common tooling (nice-to-have)
