We’re growing rapidly, with in‑house re‑conditioning centres, a captive lending platform, and a national logistics network. About the Role

Clutch is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the full accounting cycle, including managing AR and AP operations, supporting bookkeeping activities, and assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Beyond traditional accounting responsibilities, you will help build and improve financial processes, ensure strong internal controls, and promote a culture of financial accountability across the organization. The ideal candidate is a designated CPA with strong technical accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and support the bookkeeping team through daily operations, reconciliations, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities.
  • Coordinate with finance team members to assist with budgeting, planning, and forecasting in partnership with Operations and senior management.
  • Analyze and report on financial and operational metrics.
  • Build and improve internal financial processes to enhance efficiency and maintain strong control standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders during the implementation of a new ERP system.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation required.
  • 3+ years of experience in analytical accounting or finance; public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and a bias to action.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
  • Comfortable working on-site at our Downtown Toronto office (60 Adelaide St. E).

  • Exposure to ERP system implementations or upgrades.

What We Offer

Salary range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually plus stock options
