We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive People Operations Partner to join our growing team in India and support the employee experience across the full employee lifecycle at Cohere Health. In this role, you’ll help deliver smooth, compliant, and employee-friendly HR processes from onboarding through exit, while building strong relationships with employees, managers, and cross-functional partners.

You’ll work closely with a collaborative team and contribute to the continued improvement of HR operations, employee support, and process documentation. The role is ideal for someone who brings strong execution skills, empathy, and a curiosity to learn and improve.
Responsibilities

- →Align to the organization policies and procedures.
- →Ensure to get updated with ISMS roles as assigned by the department/process heads.
- Support end-to-end onboarding for new hires, from pre-boarding to post-joining follow-up.
- Coordinate with hiring managers, IT, payroll, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth joining experience.
- Conduct or support new hire orientation sessions and ensure completion of required documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding trackers.
- Help improve onboarding checklists, templates, and employee communications.
What We Offer
~1 min read- Manage leave administration support for statutory and company leave policies.
- Guide employees on leave processes and documentation in line with Indian labor law and company policy.
- Coordinate with employees, managers, payroll, and external partners for leave processing.
- Maintain accurate leave records and support return-to-work coordination.
- Assist with policies related to maternity, paternity, sick leave, earned leave, and other approved absences.
- Maintain and update employee data in HRIS systems.
- Support payroll with accurate leave and employee data inputs.
- Manage HR queries through ticketing systems and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support audits and compliance checks by maintaining required documentation.
- Assist in drafting HR SOPs, policy updates, and employee communications.
- Support training sessions for employees and managers on onboarding, leave policies, and HR processes.
- Partner with HRBPs and other teams on routine employee support and case follow-up.
- Prepare presentations, FAQs, trackers, and process documentation as needed.
- Support the India team during the global HCM implementation by providing local process and system input.
- 2–5 years of experience in HR operations, HR generalist, or people operations roles.
- Experience supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory leave compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with employees, managers, and vendors.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Experience preparing basic presentations, FAQs, or process documentation.
- Experience with ADP, Workday,HRONe
- Exposure to Monday.com or similar workflow tools.
- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce in India.
- Familiarity with HR automation tools or workflow platforms.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Nacharam, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
