The Miller Group, a subsidiary of Colas Canada, is a Canadian leader in the construction and maintenance of transportation infrastructure since 1917.
We provide exceptional customer service and operational support using our time-proven construction methods and innovative technologies, alongside the highest quality products and materials.
We leverage our global network to foster positive relationships that make a lasting difference in the communities where we live and work. Whether it is making your commute more efficient, keeping our communities safe, or making remote areas more accessible, at Miller we are proud to Build Greatness in everything we do.
We are excited to welcome a skilled Millwright to our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong expertise in mechanical systems, industrial maintenance, and fabrication who takes pride in keeping operations running at peak performance.
In this position, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery across our facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include installing and dismantling equipment, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and safely moving and reassembling machinery as required. When challenges arise, you’ll be relied upon to diagnose issues quickly and deliver effective, lasting solutions.
You will also put your fabrication and welding skills to work, creating and repairing components using a variety of tools and equipment. Strong organizational skills are essential, as maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records is key to supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Collaboration is equally important—you will work closely with teammates and other departments to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Above all, safety is paramount. You will lead by example by consistently following safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE, identifying and communicating potential hazards, and actively contributing to a strong culture of safety across the organization.
