Comec is looking for experienced Millwright Planner to join our maintenance team. The individual should have leadership experience and planning experience in the SAGD industry.
This Position will require the candidate to plan the work, order parts, contact vendors, communicate with Client operations/leadership teams. Experience working in SAP is an asset. The main job will be to review client rotating assets and review BOM’s for rebuilds and maintenance. Ensuring the BOM’s are correct and materials are on site.
The Millwright is responsible for installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. This will be accomplished through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. This position also requires that the Millwright troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. The Millwright is also responsible for repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, for a variety of commodities, and other machines.
This is at the Foster Creek SAGD plant site, shift is 7 on 7 off. 12-hour days. 80RT 4 OT per shift. OT eligible. Competitive rates- will very pending on experience level. Camp work, or bussing available. Flights may be available for the right candidate within Alberta.
Must possess the following safety tickets. (Or willing to go get before starting on site)- H2S alive, First Aid, CSTS 2020, WHIMS, Fall Arrest. Gas testing/Nitrogen Safety. Additionally confined space, certified rigging courses, industry training or equipment training is an asset.
