Columbia Forest Products is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the Customer Rewards Program administration and facilitate marketing communications and day-to-day campaign coordination.

This role is ideal for someone interested in building a career in marketing, communications, or sales support. Especially someone who enjoys organization, writing, and supporting customer-facing projects. It will expose the individual to many sides of Columbia, its products, markets, and other influential CFP team members.

 

Key Responsibilities 

Rewards Program Coordination (40% of time) 

  • Manage day-to-day coordination of the Customer Rewards Program, including enrollments, updates, documentation filing, and participant communication. 
  • Use LINKS program management system to track customer participation, activity, and account updates. 
  • Coordinate Rewards payment processing, including verifying amounts, and documenting approvals in cooperation with CFP’s finance team. 
  • Maintain digital and physical records forRewards participants, including enrollment forms, payment run documents, and supporting materials. 
  • Assist field sales representatives in uploading PFP reimbursement requests to the shared site and manage approvals based on the reward program guidelines. 
  • Seek out and assist in making improvements to Rewards documentation, filing systems, and communication processes. 

Marketing Support (45% of time) 

  • Assist with social media content planning, scheduling, and posting. 
  • Help gather assets, organize photos, and create copy for digital marketing campaigns. 
  • Assist with internal communications such as newsletters, employee updates, or company announcements. 
  • Help organize and maintain marketing files, photo libraries, brand assets, and campaign materials. 
  • Support sample request communication, customer follow ups, or sales related requests as needed. 

Graphic Design / Content Assistance 

Depending on skill set, this role may also assist with: 

  • Simple graphic design updates using approved brand templates. 
  • Social media graphics, email or flyer development, and presentation visuals. 
  • Basic photo organization, resizing, and editing. 
  • Building reusable graphic templates for routine marketing needs. 
  • Assist in video production and product photo sheets. 

Cross Department Support (15% of time) 

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Production teams to gather accurate information for marketing campaigns. 
  • Support project coordination between marketing and other departments. 
  • Assist with organizing internal product knowledge from other departments into useful sales and marketing materials. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage digital files, spreadsheets, and forms. 
  • Strong written communication skills. 
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Office and SharePoint. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow processes. 
  • Ability to handle customer information, payment documentation, and internal records with accuracy and confidentiality. 
  • Basic social media literacy or better. 
  • Willingness to learn about hardwood plywood, decorative panels, and Columbia Forest Products product lines. 
  • Less than 10% travel 
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Interest in marketing, communications, design, or customer support. in marketing, communications, design, or customer programs. 
  • Experience with basic graphic design, branded templates, or content creation tools. 
  • Previous marketing, administrative, customer service, or program coordination experience.
