Spanish-Speaking Male Caregiver – Wheelchair Transfers & Respite (Chula Vista)

About the Role ComForCare Home Care is hiring a reliable male Spanish-speaking caregiver to assist an adult male with Cerebral Palsy in Chula Vista. This role involves providing hands-on respite care, assisting with morning routines, and helping the client with outings and errands. The client does not speak English.

Schedule & Location

Location: Client’s home in Chula Vista
Days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
Hours: Morning start between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM (roughly 5 to 6 hours per shift)

Key Responsibilities

Full physical transfers (bed to wheelchair and vice versa)
Morning shower assistance
Driving the client to medical appointments in the client’s vehicle and accompanying him inside
Assisting with grocery shopping

Requirements

Fluent in Spanish (Spanish-only household)
Male caregiver required based on client care needs and transfer requirements
Physical ability to perform heavy transfers safely
Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, active auto insurance, and vehicle registration (comfortable driving your own vehicle as needed)
Registered CDSS Home Care Aide (or willing to register upon hire)
Negative TB test result within the last 3 months
