Senior Industry Marketing Manager, Medtech & Life Sciences
Quick Summary
Develop and execute the GTM strategy for MedTech & Life Sciences, framing commercetools’ composable platform around regulatory compliance, auditability, and multi-entity purchasing.
Real innovation starts with a strong foundation, and at commercetools, that comes from the perfect balance of our product and our people.
Behind every leap forward is a collective of builders, explorers, doers, makers, and problem-solvers. The kind of people who not only created composable commerce but also shaped the culture of experimentation that idea unlocked. Together they are the engine of commerce innovation today.
At commercetools, we power the next era of commerce for our customers. Whether it’s AI-driven solutions that help enterprises make smarter business decisions, bridging digital and physical shopping experiences, or enabling entirely new ways for industries to connect with their customers, we help the world’s most ambitious companies experiment, scale, and grow without limits.
Here the best idea wins, not the loudest voice. You will have the tools, trust, and space to not only build the future of commerce, but to build your own.
As the Senior Industry Marketing Manager – MedTech & Life Sciences, you will own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and outcomes, positioning, demand generation programs and sales enablement for commercetools across healthcare, medical devices, laboratory supplies, and biotech distribution. You will translate commercetools’ modular flexibility into trust-building messaging that addresses regulatory compliance (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, MDR), audit trail requirements, data security, and complex healthcare procurement processes.
- Vertical Positioning & Messaging: Develop and execute the GTM strategy for MedTech & Life Sciences, framing commercetools’ composable platform around regulatory compliance, auditability, and multi-entity purchasing.
- Demand Gen and Content Collaboration: Partner with Field Marketing, Demand Generation and Content teams to build executive roundtables, and high-impact thought leadership content (whitepapers, webinars, regulatory compliance guides) and targeted ABM campaigns in Kendall Square (Boston) and London biotech corridors.
- Sales Enablement & Playbooks: Produce vertical sales collateral, battle cards, pitch decks and discovery guides that arm AEs to confidently pitch to healthcare procurement committees, Chief Medical Officers, and Regulatory Affairs officers.
- Partner & Ecosystem Engagement: Work closely with regional system integrators (SIs) and technology partners specializing in Healthcare and Life Sciences software ecosystems.
- Market Intelligence: Track emerging market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive dynamics in digital health and medical supply distribution.
This is a full-time hybrid position, with three days a week spent in our London (UK) or Boston (MA) office.
You're a creative problem-solver who is wired to find solutions. You confidently dive into complex challenges and have a talent for making them simple for others. Your curiosity drives you to constantly grow and contribute to an environment of trust and teamwork.
Great ideas come from many paths, and your unique perspective matters more than checking every box. What matters most is the mindset you bring to the work.
You bring:
- 6+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, or Integrated Marketing, or Vertical GTM within B2B SaaS including 3+ years deeply focussed on the HealthTech, MedTech & Life Sciences sectors.
- Clear understanding of healthcare procurement, medical device distribution, and regulatory frameworks (FDA, GxP, HIPAA, MDR). This includes 3+ years experience deeply focussed on the Industrials & Manufacturing industry sector.
- Strong ability to craft compelling, trust-building narratives for risk-averse enterprise buyers and regulatory stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success partnering with Enterprise AE teams to accelerate sales cycles and close high-value software deals.
- Proficiency using tools such as Hubspot, DemandBase and Navattic.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Bioengineering, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- AI Aptitude: A genuine curiosity for using AI tools to work smarter and more effectively, paired with a drive to learn and put them into practice in your role.
