Why Were Hiring
 
Complex is seeking a Marketing Manager who is incredibly organized, detail-oriented and can function in quick paced environments. This role will work directly with the Senior Director of Marketing to plan, organize, and execute upcoming drops for Complex Shop. 
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition in alignment with company goals and objectives

  • Collaborate with Creative, PR and Merchandising to ensure cohesive story telling across digital and brand channels, including social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and traditional advertising

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization, including but not limited to daily, weekly, and monthly reporting

  • Maintain and grow relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to continuously work into the Complex Shop seeding program for affiliate and content returns

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals

  • Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that support Complex Shop campaigns and grow the marketplace across Complex's key categories

  • Work with the Marketing Director develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market marketing plans

  • Collaborate with merchandising and licensing departments to own integrated marketing calendar

  • Project manage several priorities and projects at one time

  • Continuously explore and recommend new marketing channels and tactics to reach new audiences and grow key categories

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills 

  • Proficiency with project management tools, such as Airtable 

  • Deck and presentation development, such as Google Slides  

  • Retail & E-commerce Knowledge: Strong background in retail and e-commerce, with an understanding of how social media integrates with sales funnels, product launches, and editorial content and video.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams (editorial, marketing, e-commerce, influencers) to ensure cohesive strategies that align with broader business goals.

  • Creative & Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about content and campaigns, while also being creative in product integrations and storytelling that resonates with target audiences.

  • Trend Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in social media, e-commerce, and retail, with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and platform features.
