Responsibilities

→Design, implement, integrate, and support enterprise wired and wireless LAN infrastructure.
→Maintain the technical baseline of network systems throughout the lifecycle, including deployment, operations, maintenance, and technology refresh initiatives.
→Perform network engineering, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for LAN, WAN, voice, and wireless environments.
→Support the integration and testing of new hardware, software, and network technologies while minimizing operational disruption.
→Analyze network performance, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure availability and reliability.
→Collaborate with government personnel and cross-functional technical teams to support network modernization and continuous service improvement.
→Ensure network solutions comply with DoD security requirements, enterprise standards, and configuration management processes.
→Prepare and maintain technical documentation, engineering artifacts, and implementation procedures.

Requirements

Two (2) years of experience in network operations. Higher education or military service may be substituted for the required experience.
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting telecommunications networks.
Experience with voice, LAN, WAN, wireless networking, and network management technologies.
Experience integrating, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting complex hardware and software systems.
Working knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and enterprise network infrastructure.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative technical environment.

Active Top Secret security clearance required.
