Confirmo is a global stablecoin-first payment platform trusted by market leaders. Originally founded in Prague in 2014, we run one of the most established crypto payment infrastructures in the industry. We're a 60-person global team operating in a fast-moving, regulated environment, and as we grow, we're looking to add a Group Legal Counsel to help us stay ahead of the regulatory complexity that comes with operating across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Chief Legal Officer and play a central role in advising the group entities in all aspects of Confirmo’s business. The primary objective is to act as the CLO’s main report. This person should be ready to learn to work across all areas of the business - from corporate, IP, commercial contracts, compliance, regulatory, and employment and be excited by the opportunity to assist teams in the US, UAE and the EU. This role will play a large part in establishing the legal structure of a rapidly expanding organisation at the forefront of regulated crypto payments technology.

  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts (merchant agreements, partnerships, vendor and SaaS agreements, NDAs).

  • Advise on corporate matters, including entity structuring, governance, and intercompany arrangements. Manage IP matters, including trademark strategy, protection of proprietary technology, and IP provisions in commercial deals.

  • Partner with compliance and regulatory teams on licensing, AML/KYC, and evolving crypto and payments regulation across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Support employment matters across regions, from contracts and policies to day-to-day HR legal queries.

  • Help design and implement scalable legal templates, playbooks and internal processes as the business grows.

  • Manage and coordinate external counsel across jurisdictions, controlling scope, quality and cost.

  • Provide practical, commercially-minded risk assessments to enable fast, informed business decisions.

  • 4–6 year qualified lawyer with a strong grounding in commercial contracts.

  • Experience in house in the FinTech, payments, crypto or another regulated industry is a strong plus.

  • Experience in or genuine appetite to learn across corporate, IP, commercial, compliance, regulatory and employment law, rather than specialising narrowly.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environment with competing priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to advise stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures (US, UAE, EU); additional languages a plus.

  • Proactive, pragmatic and commercially oriented a builder who enjoys creating structure.

Location: Prague or Dublin, where we have offices. We'd also potentially consider a remote-first candidate based elsewhere in Europe.
