→Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for large-scale, customer-facing web applications.
→Build and enhance modern front-end features using React, Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
→Contribute to backend development using Java and RESTful APIs when required.
→Translate business requirements, wireframes, and technical designs into clean, scalable, and maintainable production-ready code.
→Develop reusable UI components and contribute to shared component libraries.
→Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
→Write automated unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
→Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
→Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and Software Engineers.
→Follow secure coding practices and modern software engineering standards.
→Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices to support software delivery.
→Monitor applications using observability and logging tools to maintain production stability.
→Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity while maintaining code quality.

Applicants must currently reside in Costa Rica. Candidates located outside Mexico will not be considered.
5+ years of professional experience building modern web applications.
Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, React, Redux, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Professional experience developing RESTful APIs using Java. Experience with Golang or Python is a plus.
Strong understanding of front-end architecture, reusable component design, and modern design patterns.
Experience building responsive, high-performance, customer-facing web applications.
Experience with automated testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing (Playwright or similar tools preferred).
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, New Relic, Splunk, or similar.
Understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility, and secure development practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of the software development lifecycle is a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
