Reporting to the China Managing Director, you will sit on the China Leadership team and contribute to building the strategic direction and delivery of the China objectives, with a focus on our Operational Excellence delivery line.

 

You will play a key role in identifying strategic business opportunities, focusing on delivering excellence to new and existing clients at the C suite level, achieving annual revenue targets and defining and implementing strategies for growth.

As the OpEx Practice Lead, you will have the opportunity to transform how leading companies and institutions in our core industries operate, improving their productivity and the safety of their people and the environment.

You will have a high degree of autonomy to drive the direction and success of the OpEx practice across China, managing industry-leading, cross-functional teams to deliver transformational improvements and lasting results based on industry company-specific insights.

·       Take an active leadership role in delivering the strategic plan for our OpEx practice and continually grow a diversified engagement pipeline within target accounts.

·       Manage and enhance relationships with clients, with the objective of positioning the company as a trusted partner.

·       Identify and pursue additional business opportunities. Innovate the way we execute complex consulting engagements to ensure the project and deliverables meet or exceed the client’s requirements and expectations, delivering superior value to clients.

·       Lead the OpEx industry network to develop and share best practices.

·       Mentor and coach junior colleagues to support their development within the organisation.

·       Consistently act with integrity and acquire new expertise/skills valuable to the firm as required to remain relevant and competitive.

·       In-depth knowledge of Operational Excellence - key trends, key risks, challenges and value drivers

·       Experience of working in a management consulting firm, combined with hands-on OpEx experience from the Chemicals/Steel or other industrial industry.

·       Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry OpEx solutions/best practices in operational excellence

·       Existing relationships with relevant senior leaders/ middle managers in targeted industry accounts

·       Direct experience (>10 years) in delivering growth and key services in transforming companies in OpEx

·       Effective communication at the C-suite level and ability to effectively drive business development/solution development and/or high-quality delivery of key services

·       Demonstrated experience coaching, leading and developing talent

·       Entrepreneurial spirit, outcome-focused, thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly growing consulting environment.
