Mr Murdoch's - Duty Manager - Full Time

Come and be a part of our awesome team! Mr Murdoch's has been getting busier and busier so we need another manager to help us continue to raise the bar as we go from strength to strength.  

The Pay & Role

• Starting on $31 - $35 per hour depending on experience
• Work 4-5 days a week, either Tuesday to Saturday or Friday to Tuesday, on a rotating 2-week roster, ensuring time off on weekends every other week
• Opportunity for the right candidate to progress into more senior roles

Skills / Experience / What we are looking for:

• You have experience managing a grunty venue with high sales in a gastro pub environment
• You're looking for a long term career in hospitality
• You are familiar working with bands and/or DJs and know how to create an awesome atmosphere
• You enjoy working nights on the busiest shifts and will do whatever you can to keep the party going and ensure sales are maximised
• Excellent presentation and strong clear communication
• A managers certificate or LCQ is required
  

You will:

• Ensure the environment within the site is always top notch
• Guarantee the customer journey for your outlet is being followed by all team members
• Make sure quality of products, plus waiting times exceed expectation
• Take responsibility for daily/ weekly procedures including ordering, receiving and stock take
• Lead your team, provide feedback and set a high example by always operating above the line

The pints are cold, the prices and cheap and we can guarantee you a good night! Formally known as Fort Street Union, our bar has recently undergone a makeover like none other.
