Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and execute business strategies for the technical product support function.
- →Manage a team responsible for resolving customer technical problems and providing post-sales support.
- →Oversee the development of technical responses for Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and work closely with the sales team to address product issues.
- →Coordinate the delivery and installation of new software releases to customers.
- →Manage the technical interface with customers, including specification reviews and hands-on testing.
- →Collaborate with development and engineering for systems design and integration at customer sites.
- →Build and maintain relationships with customers to support business objectives.
- →Mentor and guide supervisors, project leads, and technical staff.
- →Report to senior-level management and act as a technical leader and subject matter expert on complex issues/projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the high-tech industry or IT, focusing on product engineering, development, and support functions.
- Proven experience in managing teams and projects in diverse technological and business environments.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to manage middle-level management teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to work under general direction and report frequently to senior-level executives.
