Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the build environment and source code control systems.
  • Create, test, and troubleshoot software builds, applying labels to files and communicating build statuses.
  • Build scripts and develop installation procedures.
  • Identify and implement procedures to streamline the build process, including automation and notification systems.
  • Assist engineering management with selecting source code management systems and development tools.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior technical staff as needed.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience, with at least 2 years in release management.
  • Proficiency in quality methods, PC, PVCS, UNIX, and scripting languages.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in release management processes.
  • Experience working on complex projects across multiple disciplines and environments.
  • Proficient in project management, spreadsheet, and database query tools.
