The program will support US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Conduct technical analysis of radio frequency (RF) signals, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and associated electronic attack, electronic protection, and electronic support measures in support of all-source intelligence production and operational planning requirements.
- →Apply advanced analytical skills to identify, assess, and report on adversary RF/EW capabilities, electronic order of battle (EOB), signal characteristics, and evolving tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
- →Support the development and dissemination of electronic warfare threat advisories, RF threat assessments, and warning notifications to U.S. and coalition forces on a need-to-know basis.
- →Collaborate with SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, and All-Source analysts across the Intelligence Community and DoD to fuse RF/EW technical intelligence with all-source reporting to develop comprehensive network and threat assessments.
- →Provide technical support to counter-UAS (C-UAS) operations by analyzing adversary UAS RF communication protocols, command and control links, and electronic signatures to inform detection, identification, and defeat solutions.
- →Support collection management efforts by identifying RF/EW collection gaps, developing collection requirements, and coordinating with collection managers and SIGINT platforms to satisfy analytical and operational requirements.
- →Produce finished intelligence products, technical reports, briefings, and assessments derived from RF/EW analysis for dissemination to U.S. national and foreign intelligence consumers, the Intelligence Community, DoD, and other Government officials as appropriate.
- →Maintain proficiency in current RF/EW analytical tools, signal analysis platforms, and intelligence systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications and standard intelligence reporting databases.
- →Participate in professional development, training, and deployment preparation activities, and accomplish assigned special projects and tasks as directed.
Requirements
~2 min read- Minimum of six (6) years of RF/EW analysis, SIGINT operations, or electronic warfare experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with operational-level experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience conducting technical analysis of RF signals, electronic warfare systems, and associated electronic order of battle (EOB) in support of all-source intelligence production and targeting requirements.
- Proficiency in RF spectrum analysis tools, signal processing platforms, and SIGINT exploitation systems, including but not limited to ArcGIS, Analyst Notebook, and other government-furnished analytical tools and databases.
- Demonstrated experience fusing RF/EW technical intelligence with all-source reporting to develop comprehensive threat assessments, network analyses, and finished intelligence products.
- Working knowledge of RF propagation theory, antenna systems, communication protocols, and electronic warfare principles, including electronic attack, electronic protection, and electronic support measures.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the F3EAD targeting cycle through the application of RF/EW technical intelligence to network targeting, nodal analysis, and HVI identification efforts.
- Familiarity with counter-UAS (C-UAS) RF detection and defeat systems, UAS communication protocols, and RF-based UAS identification techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting SIGINT collection management, developing collection requirements, and coordinating with collection platforms to address analytical and operational gaps is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex RF/EW technical findings into actionable intelligence products and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong briefing skills with the ability to effectively present RF/EW threat assessments and technical findings to senior leadership, operational consumers, and interagency partners.
- Familiarity with ICD 610 analytical standards and demonstrated proficiency applying structured analytic techniques and intelligence tradecraft principles to RF/EW analysis and reporting.
- Acute knowledge of Special Operations Forces (SOF) and/or counterterrorism (CT) and counter-proliferation intelligence operations is highly desirable.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
