In this role, you will oversee lease data integrity, ensure ASC 842 compliance, and enhance reporting within our lease management system (CoStar). You'll partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and Operations to maintain high-quality lease data and strong internal controls.

About the Role
~1 min readAs a Data Center Lease Analyst, you will manage a diverse portfolio of data center, real estate, and equipment leases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with ASC 842 and IFRS16 standards. Your day-to-day will involve abstracting complex lease agreements, coordinating with Accounts Payable and Operations for expense approvals, and interacting with landlords to resolve billing disputes or reconcile charges. You will also perform desk audits of operating expense statements and drive continuous process improvements across reporting and lease administration workflows.
- Administer a portfolio of the company's data center, real estate, network, and equipment leases.
- Interpret complex commercial contract language related to rent, tax, insurance, power usage, cross-connects, and other obligations.
- Abstract lease documents into the lease database in accordance with ASC 842 and IFRS16.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Operations for expense approvals and payments.
- Review variance reports to write narratives to internal stakeholders.
- Interact with landlords to resolve billing disputes and reconcile charges.
- Perform desk audits of annual operating expense statements to ensure all expenses are consistent with the terms of the lease.
- Document management of service orders, lease documents, and invoices.
- Drive continuous improvement across workflows, reporting, and operational practices.
- Minimum 5 years of corporate lease administration experience.
- Strong understanding of ASC 842 and lease accounting principles.
- Proven ability to abstract lease agreements and amendments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in processing rent invoices and OpEx reconciliations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proactive mindset with a track record of identifying gaps and driving solutions.

The base salary range for this role is $109,000 to $145,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
