We’re hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor.

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee all maintenance activities across the production facility and field equipment, ensuring minimal downtime by working closely with the Production Leader (PLM). You are responsible for executing capital projects within the production department, ensuring compliance with electrical and mechanical maintenance standards. The role includes managing and fully implementing the Emaint system to support effective spare parts warehouse control and timely maintenance planning. In partnership with site leadership, you will help define and drive the site’s Reliability and Maintenance (R&M) strategy, acting as the voice of maintenance in decisions related to asset downtime and sustaining target OEE.
You are accountable for the safe execution of work by maintenance teams and contractors, while ensuring the organization has the skills and capabilities to deliver through structured work and reliability processes.
Responsibilities also include managing daily maintenance operations, delegating tasks, overseeing contractors and departmental expenses, coordinating capital projects with the EMEA regional team, and reporting monthly costs to finance and site leadership. Leveraging strong technical expertise, you will provide analysis, planning, and coordination support, make sound business decisions, and ensure processes meet quality and safety standards, including stopping or adjusting production when necessary. The role may include direct reports.
You Will Be Part of Growing Team
Seed production supply chain Egypt, this team is the most important production team in the Middle East in seed business as they are responsible for producing the highest quality seeds corn in the region that is supplying Egypt and MENA region market with corn seed.
Your Challenge:
* To manage all the maintenance activities in the production plant, also the field equipment maintenance plan.
* Execute capital projects in the plant from planning till commissioning, as well as reporting the monthly expenses.
* Implement the maintenance software (Emaint) to follow up planned maintenance activities.
* Follow and implement Corteva safety standards in day-to-day activities.
* Lead the maintenance team members and interact with all maintenance vendors on site.
* Develop team members to increase department efficiency.
Key Stakeholders and Interactions:
Main interaction within the SPSC functions:
* Production Planning Manager.
* Quality team members to manage quality audits for the maintenance department.
* Seed plant operation function leads to implement proper planning for maintenance activities.
* Regional capital projects teams and regional maintenance leads to follow up the capital projects executions.
Cross Function Interaction:
* Controllership team to submit expenses and capital expenditure monthly.
* HR business partner, to support in the team development and succession plan for the field team.
* Procurement and legal to manage contract and legal cases relate to field operations.

Meet Bera production facility Egypt.
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
* At least 8 years' experience in the maintenance field (industrial).
* People development experience and capabilities.
* Leadership skills to lead the field operation team.
* Strong technical knowledge, crisis management and problem solving skills.
* Excellent English language skill for communication with regional and global production teams.
* Excellent computer and analytical understanding.
