About the Role
~1 min readCounsel Health is seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Quality & Training to serve as the clinical standard-bearer and architect of our provider workforce. This role is designed for a practicing physician leader with deep expertise in Longevity Medicine who thrives at the intersection of direct patient care and clinical operations. Reporting to the VP of Care Delivery, you will lead the "Counsel Standard" of excellence, ensuring our clinical team is the most well-trained and consistent in the industry.
You will operate in a "Player-Coach" capacity, maintaining a 50% clinical load while dedicating the remainder of your time to workforce management, protocol development, and clinician mentorship. This role is critical to our scale; you will own the end-to-end clinician lifecycle—from creating the digital library of onboarding videos and authoring evidence-based protocols to personally mentoring every new hire through their first 90 days.
As a data-driven clinical leader, you are responsible for defining and monitoring quality rubrics that translate complex patient interactions into measurable performance data. You will help ensure that as Counsel grows, our clinical quality remains uncompromising.
