The Impact of Technical Architect to Coupa:
 
As a Lead Technical Architect at Coupa, you will collaborate with our Customers, Partners and internal Product Management teams to implement cutting-edge solutions for our customers. Your expertise and experience will be crucial in integrating technologies into the Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or AP Automation domains, enabling our teams to manage the successful delivery of integration projects at Coupa effectively.
 
  • Lead technical integration workstreams, managing customer expectations and collaborating with project managers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Design integration strategies across multi-ERP environments, leveraging RESTful APIs, flat-file methods, and secure transfer protocols.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customer architecture teams and senior stakeholders, guiding technical discussions and decisions.
  • Mentor and guide integration engineers on implementation best practices and solution configuration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, building robust infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Deep hands-on experience with large-scale ERP integrations (SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, Netsuite) and middleware platforms (Boomi, Talend, TIBCO, etc.).
  • Strong domain knowledge in Finance and Procurement processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, AP, Expenses); supply chain planning experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with modern integration protocols and technologies (REST, SOAP, sFTP, SSO), as well as scripting and programming (Python, Ruby, Java, .NET).
  • Experience with external supplier system integrations (EDI, cXML) and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills to align stakeholders and drive technical delivery across teams.
