Senior Contents Strategist

What You Will Do 

• Utilize one’s own understanding in local culture and business nature to localize and manage contents needed for product/marketing/development/educational guides
• Proofread and manage (traditional) Chinese within the service in a consistent and professional way (proper nouns and technical terms used within the company)
• Manage and communicate with the partnering translation firm - manage contract and work schedule, proofread translated output, and provide a term and style guide
• Update the translation memory and terminology database and work on documentation
• Reflect stakeholder and local requirements to the translation output
• Communicate with relevant teams to respond to local issues and align on the solution
• Monitor the local service trend and support UX and business

Basic Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s degree on Advertisement, Public Relations, Journalism, Media, Communication, Business, Design, or equivalent experiences
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating expert writing skills in English, in areas like UX writing, copywriting, and article writing, as well as experience in running a blog/social media account and producing content
• Ability to clearly understand requirements and fulfill them through long or short written content
• 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Ability to produce writing guidelines and presentations
• Experience of closely collaborating with various internal teams across the company and outsourcing vendors to lead and accomplish projects

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience working with various teams in a fast-growing environment
• Understanding in product design
• Experience in driving a project from end to end, leveraging insights from both qualitative and quantitative data
• Experience in leading various stakeholders and operating and managing complex project
• Experience working in the IT or e-commerce industry
• Proficient in Traditional and Mandarin Chinese
• Ability to communicate in English
