Role: Growth Acquisition Strategist
Priority Location: Eastern Europe / South Africa
Working Hours: 8AM - 5PM CET
Salary Range: $3,000 – $4,000
Type of contract: Full-time
Type of job: Remote
About the company
Our client is one of Europe’s leading direct-to-consumer baby brands, supporting parents through thoughtfully designed products and an exceptional e-commerce experience. As the company expands its international footprint, paid acquisition across Meta and Google has become one of its most vital growth drivers.
They are seeking a highly analytical yet creative marketer who can bridge the gap between media buying and creative strategy. This individual will play a key role in accelerating campaign velocity, boosting performance, and creating a more efficient workflow between performance marketing and content production.
About the Role
Our e-commerce works today and it is profitable, but it is standing still. We have a machine that executes well — website, email, content produced together with an in-house influencer team across four markets — and what we are missing is someone who defines the acquisition strategy: which needs we speak to, with which messages, to which audiences, and how all of it holds together from the ad to the page to the email.
This is a role to build, not to maintain. Whoever joins will find a channel with healthy margins, clean data, and no legacy structure to dismantle.
Key Responsibilities
- Mapping customer needs, triggers and objections for every product and every market,
and turning them into a living, actively used library of communication angles - Building the creative production system: from the script, to the content request to
creators, to editing, to going live - Making the whole funnel coherent: the promise in the ad, the landing page and the
email sequence all tell the same story - Governing the agency that currently runs Meta and Google, and leading the move to in-
house media buying - Allocating advertising budget across markets based on the profitability of each
- Growing customer value over time, not just acquiring customers: automated flows,
repeat purchase, entry offer - Building the entry thesis for the US market: positioning, angles and messaging for the
2027 relaunch, together with the channel owner - Giving the company a weekly read on acquisition, conversion and retention
The role is not accountable for the technical build of the site, the pages and the email flows —
those stay with the E-commerce Manager, with whom this role works as a pair. It is not
accountable for brand tone of voice, which stays with the Brand Manager.
Essential Requirements
- 3-7 years in growth or performance marketing roles on DTC e-commerce, with ownership of strategy and not only execution
- Having already built a library of angles and a creative production process: this is the requirement that weighs most. We ask candidates to show it during the process.
- Writing: able to write persuasive scripts and messaging, and able to judge copy working with native speakers even in languages they do not speak
- Thinks in terms of margin: MER, CAC, contribution margin. Able to read a P&L and tell the difference between a campaign that sells and a campaign that makes money
- Experience across multiple European markets, not a single country
- Able to get work done through people who do not report to them
- Fluent English
Nice to have
- Experience launching or scaling in the US market
- Experience moving media buying from an agency in-house
- Categories where trust matters: baby care, health, cosmetics, supplements
- Having worked with influencer and creator content as the raw material for campaigns
- Familiarity with Shopify and Klaviyo
