Job Title: Construction Manager - Wind Energy Location: Western Cape, South Africa Industry: Renewable Energy - Wind About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee wind energy projects in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in managing large-scale wind energy projects, demonstrating strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the construction phase of wind energy projects, ensuring timely and successful completion. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and regulatory bodies, to drive project milestones. Oversee site activities and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to optimize efficiency. Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and construction personnel, providing clear guidance and support. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and adherence to project specifications. Report on project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management. Mitigate risks and implement proactive measures to address potential issues. Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience managing wind energy construction projects, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.
