Quality Controller Wind Turbine

Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Inspector - Wind Farm Location: Eastern Cape, South Africa Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with Wind turbines Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our clients team for a wind farm project in the Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, specifically turbines and transformers, with additional expertise in welding inspection. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of wind turbine and transformer installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Perform various types of welding inspections, including visual inspection (VT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and radiographic testing (RT). Adhere to and enforce safety standards and regulations during all inspections. Document and report findings, ensuring accurate and timely communication with project management and relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with the construction and engineering teams to address and rectify any identified issues or defects. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements in QC inspection techniques. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, specifically with turbines and transformers. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Must Be An South African or A south African Perm Residency holder Preferred Skills: Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the renewable energy sector
