Chief Information Officer

Description

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a strategic executive responsible for developing and executing Alabama Credit Union's technology strategy in alignment with its strategic plan, business objectives, and member needs. The CIO leads the technology department through a team of senior technology leaders, providing strategic direction, accountability, and leadership across core banking technology, enterprise applications, network and infrastructure, data management, automation and RPA, IT operations, project management, and technology services.

• Ability to analyze data, reading and creating reports with numerous software platforms
• Advanced understanding of Credit Union products and services, as well as competitor and potential products and services
• Understands the needs of the business, align with the strategic roadmap and integrate, coordinate and facilitate complex resources in fast paced, agile format

• Excellent supervisory skills, with the ability to delegate some supervisory functions
• Professional presentation and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor under potentially stressful circumstances
• Strong project management skills, to include multi-departmental initiatives that may require significant resource investment in learning new data analytics techniques and procedures
• The ability to gather buy-in and drive completion of projects that affect multiple areas of the organization
• The ability to use discretion in the sharing of information is required, including the highest degree of confidentiality with information that is not to be disclosed according to law and/or ACU policy
• Ability to independently travel, occasionally overnight.

• Understanding of cloud technologies, network infrastructure, and design and general systems administration
• Experience in driving digital transformation across the enterprise with proven tools such as robotics process automation or artificial intelligence is preferred.
