Server Assistant - Seasonal Part-Time

We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as a Server Assistant. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating an unparalleled guest experience. Your mission will be to anticipate and promptly fulfill every need, exceeding expectations and leaving a lasting impression.

• →Assists with the setting up your assigned section as per departmental / meal period standards.
• →Attend roll call meetings (pre shift) before start of service to learn of specials (food & beverage) function particulars, including guests and hotel expectations.
• →Assist with on-boarding of new associates as scheduled.
• →Serve the food and/or beverage in order. Expedite food in accordance with direction from the culinary team.
• →Compliance with food allergy / dietary restrictions notification/s from guests / reservations and ensure team members both FOH and BOH are alerted (advised).
• →Always maintaining a professional appearance.
• →Working in an environment in-door / outdoors.
• →Assisting coworkers, whether it be their assigned section, food running, seating, telephone reservations, cleaning duties (back of house side duties, cleaning of the restaurant floor.)
• →Assigned to be scheduled to work events / restaurant shifts.
• →Abide by all Provincial, Federal, and corporate requirements pertaining to Food Safe, serving alcoholic beverages including WCB regulations.
• →Replenish beverages (water) as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.

• Proven experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

You have a passion for hospitality and excellent service execution and the ability to work in a team to these standards. You a strong knowledge of hospitality and a thorough knowledge of hotels, the bar, and the kitchen.
