The Newport News Marriott is seeking a welcoming and service-focused professional to join our team as a Concierge Lounge Attendant. This position is part of Restaurant Kitchen 740 and plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience in our Concierge Lounge.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in service excellence, and thrives in creating warm, memorable environments for guests. This role is part-time/temporary and primarily works evening shifts, supporting our evening food and beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, set up, and maintain the Concierge Lounge for evening service, including hors d’oeuvres and beverage presentation
Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to guests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
Monitor lounge cleanliness and organization, maintaining Marriott brand standards at all times
Replenish food and beverage items as needed throughout the shift
Engage with guests in a courteous and hospitable manner, anticipating needs and responding promptly
Support overall food & beverage operations connected with Kitchen 740
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures

Qualifications

Previous hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
Positive attitude with a passion for guest service
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
Availability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
