Responsibilities

→Schedule medical appointments via phone, secure messaging, or other approved request methods, ensuring compliance with local appointing guidelines and access-to-care standards.
→Maintain appointment schedules using government medical systems such as CHCS, AHLTA, or MHS GENESIS.
→Validate patient eligibility through the Defense Eligibility Enrollment System (DEERS) and update demographic information; register new patients, including newborns, as needed.
→Keep patient schedules and logs accurate and up to date, using system tools and protocols (detail codes, freezing slots, TRICARE Online) for slot management, rescheduling, and cancellations.
→Contact patients via phone or secure messaging to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed.
→Assist in preparing patient notifications for appointment reminders, no-shows, and cancellations.
→Create and deliver telephone messages (t-cons) to Primary Care Managers (PCMs) and clinic nurses in accordance with standard protocols and clinic guidelines.
