What You'll Do As our Tropical, Annual and Perennial (TAP) Manager 

You'll be responsible for leading the team and operations behind one of our most active departments. You'll direct a fast-paced, seasonally driven crew, keep plants healthy and beautifully merchandised, and make sure every customer who walks through gets the best experience possible.

Your responsibilities will include

• Assisting customers with any and all plant questions or needs
• Overseeing the care and maintenance of the Annual, Tropical, and Perennial departments
• Merchandising material to enhance the customer experience
• Training new staff and continuing the education of tenured team members
• Managing, tasking, and leading the TAP team
• Developing systems to keep the department running efficiently and effectively
• Setting daily and long-term goals for the department and its team members
• Developing and utilizing a spray program to maintain the highest quality across all plants
• Overseeing interdepartmental transfers and processing incoming/outgoing orders
• Communicating with buyers to address needs, voids, and incoming orders
• Maintaining and troubleshooting inventory issues
