Position Overview

As a progressive leader with six dealership franchises, 3 collision centres and several related businesses, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager.



You will be instrumental in driving traffic, generating qualified leads, and helping to drive inventory turns and service retention.  You will own digital strategy end‑to‑end and provide clear, ROI‑focused insights to the executive team.


Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Strategic Planning & Budget Allocation: Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans to drive brand awareness, sales, inventory turns and service retention. Allocate budget by rooftop based on performance and opportunity.  Align campaigns with OEM programs and inventory priorities and optimize media mix
  • Lead Digital Execution: Lead and manage all paid and organic digital efforts, including Google Ads (PPC, Performance Max), social media advertising, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and video campaigns.  Drive consistent cost per lead, lead quality and lead to sales conversion rates across channels
  • Own Service Retention Strategy: Drive CRM lifecycle marketing performance, improve service appointment booking rates and enhance retention in the 0-24 month ownership window
  • Manage E-commerce & Web Presence: Lead the strategy for our dealer websites, ensuring a seamless user experience, lead generation, and e-commerce functionality. Oversee integrations with key 3rd-party tools for trade-in valuations, service booking, and finance applications.
  • Team & Vendor Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of in-house specialists and external vendors to execute high-impact campaigns to meet performance KPIs, including agency partners. Coordinate with OEM partners to leverage co-op funding and ensure brand compliance.
  • Analytics & Performance Optimization: Own and provide transparent reporting, using platforms like GA4 to track key metrics and optimize a substantial marketing budget. Continuously analyze data to make strategic investment decisions and refine campaign performance.  Own cost per lead targets, monitor lead-to-sale conversions and channel level ROI

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media management, with a strong preference for the automotive or retail industry.
  • Proven expertise in leading and managing marketing teams and large, multi-channel budgets.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and CRM platforms.
  • Experience with CRM lifecycle marketing
  • Strong communicator and team player with experience working with multiple clients at once
  • Analytical and data driven
  • Experience with automotive retail preferred but not required
  • Experience leveraging AI to optimize strategies, performance and create work efficiencies an asset
