We are looking for an intern to join our platform management team and support the day-to-day management of Crypto Finance's trading and core platforms. Working alongside the Application Manager, you will gain hands-on exposure to how institutional trading and core-banking systems are run, supported, and improved — from production incidents and releases to client onboarding and documentation. This is a learning-focused role for someone curious about the intersection of trading technology, operations, and digital assets. This internship is offered as a fixed-term assignment for a period of six months.

• →Platform support: Help monitor the trading and core banking applications and assist in logging and tracking issues.
• →Incident support: Assist the second-line team in triaging, documenting, and following up on production incidents, learning root cause analysis along the way.
• →Release support: Help prepare and document platform releases, and track change-control steps with the Cloud, engineering, and delivery teams.
• →Client onboarding support: Assist with client conformance testing and maintain onboarding documentation.
• →Configuration support: Help maintain platform and application settings under supervision.
• →Ticket & backlog hygiene: Keep tickets accurate and the backlog well-organized in Jira.
• →Testing: Support test preparation and execution for platform changes.
• →Documentation & knowledge management: Maintain and improve platform documentation and the team knowledge base in Confluence.

• →Hands-on insight into how a regulated institutional trading platform is operated and supported
• →Exposure to production incident management, release processes, and client onboarding in digital assets
• →Mentorship from an experienced platform and product team within Deutsche Börse Group

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, finance, or a related field
• Genuine interest in trading systems, financial technology, or digital assets
• Basic understanding of how software systems connect and communicate (e.g., APIs; FIX, REST a plus)
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized, with a strong willingness to learn
• Clear written and spoken communication in English

• Coursework, projects, or interest in digital assets/cryptocurrencies
• Familiarity with ticketing or documentation tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Exposure to capital markets, trading, or financial-services environments
• Comfortable working with technical documentation and structured processes
